“The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” collection by H&M
It seems like we can’t get enough of H&M…This time our point of interest is the Swedish retailer’s new collection, inspired by the upcoming film “The Girl with the Dragon tattoo” based on Stieg Larsson’s best- seller. The 30-piece collection has the dark urban feel that defies the character of the film’s anti-heroine, Lisbeth Salander, and it is designed by Trish Summerville, who is also the costume director of the David Fincher’s version of the film.
The line features designs based on the gritty pieces donned by the lead character and it abounds with leather racing jackets, torn jeans, slouchy jackets, colored in black, grey, dark red and muddy white. The outfits’ rough and edgy look is completed by knitted snoods and tribal earrings, as well as the boyish leather boots, high top sneakers and urban wedges.
Priced between $3.95 and $199, the line will hit the stores on November 28 th- at Collete, and December 14 th-in H&M stores.
