Alexa Chung for Madewell fall 2011 Campaign
Following their first successful collaboration when the whole collection was sold out in a matter of days, Alexa and Madewell decided to release their second collection together.
“We were all so in sync. Since it’s the second collection, it was like old friends getting together and creating something — and having a great time in the process!” said Kin Yung Lee, Madewell’s head of design, of the second teaming with the British model.
The new line, as the company stated, draws “heavy inspiration [from] girls in bands who live their looks,” and judging by its brilliant campaign photos which were shot in Austin, Texas, it has an interesting road-trip vibe. Beautiful Alexa rocks several simple yet elegant Madewell pieces, looking absolutely gorgeous. The collection is about to hit the stores on September, 22…Excited?
