Fall trends: Plaids invasion
Plaid is back, and to tell the truth we couldn’t be happier. It reminds us a lot of our favorite Vivienne Westwood and the 80’s London punk rebels, as well as the plaid flannel shirts of the 90’s Grunge bands. From Marc Jacobs and Burberry to H&M and TOPSHOP, the plaid could be found everywhere and you have a lot of clothes and accessories to choose from. If you want to pull off an uptown, preppy chic style, then you can choose a posh plaid coat, high waisted trousers or vintage tartan dress. For a bolder, punkish twist of the trend, your best choice would be a short plaid skirt or loose pants complemented by unique and edgy accessories. The thing that you should definitely try as far as this trend is concerned, is mixing two or more different plaid patterns. The result could be very interesting and truly original look.
If a head-to-toe tartan look is not your thing, just choose from the abundance of plaid accessories such as scarves, begs, belts and shoes.
