Stance by Ana Locking
“Stance” is the name of the new, Fall/Winter 2011 shoe collection by the brilliant Ana Locking. The collection centers on the philosophy of identity or as Ana puts it, it is all about taking a standpoint “the correct one for yourself, within the countless voices, lives and circumstances that make up each of us.”
She uses bright colored blocks, strong contrasts and various geometric shapes, each of them referring to the contrasts and conflicts within each of us. The collection is bold and edgy, with an interesting futuristic vibe.
