She is a stylist, a writer, a blogger and our ultimate style crush…Her name is Amy Soderlind. We came across her blog ( Refuses to Label ) a few years ago, and remember drooling over her killer bohemian style and her super inspirational posts. She writes about fashion, style, music and art in such a pleasant, poetic way, that you’ll certainly spent hours reading a enjoying the visual imagery.
When asked what does the word style means to her, she would say: “ Ownership of oneself. You can tell right? A woman in her 80’s walking down the street, dressed in crazy prints, top hat, and embroidered boots… its HER. Because without her, I would think twice about the clothing, or not at all I suppose. But this woman in these clothes? They come to life and become this together force. The clothing doesn’t make the man, the man makes the clothing” adding that “Clean simple lines, All things Scandinavian, Fresh color palettes, Gucci SS16’, Egon Schiele, Old folk/bluegrass music, Luxe knits; camel colored head to toe (with touches of black),High necks, high waists, Open minds, Long conversations that make me full,Phone-less trips with the ones I love… are all the things that she finds very inspiring.
